Parksville Community Centre
The Parksville Community Centre is a
City of Parksville owned facility at 132 Jensen Avenue East operated by the BGC Central Vancouver Island. The Parksville Community Centre is home to the Parksville Child and Family Centre which will offer 91 new childcare spaces - 37 spaces for infants to school age and 54 spaces for school age children as well as youth and parent programs, and space for community use.
BGC Central Vancouver Island is well-known and respected for their great community programs and services which will now be offered to residents in the Parksville region.
Space is available in the Parksville Community Centre for community uses such as meetings, workshops, sports groups, community groups, birthday parties, weddings, or casual use. Renovations to the facility are well underway and the Parksville Community Centre will reopen to the community in June 2022 for community use bookings and September 2022 for BGC programs and services.
The Parksville Community Centre is centrally located in Parksville Downtown and adjacent to the Parksville Civic and Technology Centre which is home to City of Parksville offices, the Vancouver Island Regional Library, School District 69 Qualicum and Vancouver Island University’s Parksville-Qualicum campus. The Parksville Community Centre is within walking distance of many businesses, community amenities, and growing residential areas. The PCC is accessible to transit routes, bicycle lanes, and pedestrian greenways.
